Mini Remastered: For Your Eyes Only

SILVERSTONE, UNITED KINGDOM, (5 MARCH 2020): The latest Mini Remastered commission to leave our Silverstone build facility takes inspiration from one of Hollywood’s most iconic vehicles. Commissioned in a distinctive colour configuration, this Mini Remastered is themed around James Bond’s Lotus Esprit Turbo from the 1981 film, For Your Eyes Only.

The bespoke exterior paint finish of Lotus’ ‘Copper Glow’ is contrasted by David Brown Automotive’s ‘Fade to Black’ wheel arches and roof, accentuating the lines of the distinctive body shape. Gilding down the side of this Mini Remastered is the famed ‘Turbo’ graphic, hand-painted in ‘Sahara Gold’, nestled between bespoke 13” alloys, also painted in ‘Sahara Gold’ and featuring black brake calipers. Beneath the bonnet you will find the 1330cc remastered A-series engine.

A sophisticated stance, versatile appearance and subtly strong spirit is achieved with the addition of triple Cibié® bumper-mounted auxiliary driving lights and LED front headlights, preparing Mini Remastered for any mission required of it.

A panoramic sunroof opens to reveal a mini retreat, featuring a wood veneer dash in ‘Dark American Burr Walnut’; with a gloss lacquer to capture and distribute the sun light throughout the year. The ‘Arctic White’ leather upholstery, white Alcantara® headlining, ivory LED illuminated Smiths® dials and ‘Day Tripper’ painted trim combine to achieve an interior consisting of a perfect balance of contemporary and classic features.

Mini Remastered wouldn’t be complete without a 7″ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto® and Bluetooth® capabilities, allowing the driver to make their own judgement on the latest releases from around the world.
