David Brown Automotive to feature at luxury summit Salon Du Luxe in Paris

– Inaugural luxury & innovation event will gather collection of high-end brands from around the world at the prestigious Maison de la Chimie

– David Brown to personally introduce Speedback GT

– Speedback GT will be showcased in the garden of the Maison de la Chimie throughout the conference

Coventry, England (22^nd June 2015): David Brown Automotive will be showcasing its Speedback GT at this year’s inaugural Maison Du Luxe on 9^th and 10^th July in Paris.

The event, dedicated to luxury decision makers, will attract around 1000 executive-level attendees to discuss innovation and luxury, with David Brown Automotive featuring as a key partner.

With Speedback GT on display in the stunning gardens of the Maison de la Chimie, attendees will be able to admire the car throughout the two-day event.

Founder and CEO David Brown will also be addressing the audience, talking about his experiences of launching the David Brown Automotive brand into the automotive and luxury goods segments.

David said: “Salon du Luxe is the perfect target audience for Speedback GT and we’re thrilled to be participating both with the car and as a speaker. Attending the summit with other high-end luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Fauchon and Boucheron means David Brown Automotive will have a lot in common with the other guests and we’re looking forward to mingling with all the attendees, partners and journalists during the summit.”

Launched in March 2014, Speedback GT from David Brown Automotive heralded a new era for GT models, showcasing a classically styled car with modern mechanicals, reliability and comforts. Designed, engineered and hand-crafted in Britain, Speedback GT has triumphed in Europe both via media reaction and sales.

Priced at £495,000 plus local taxes, Speedback GT promises exceptional performance and handling, hosting a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged unit with 510bhp and 461lb ft, hitting 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 155mph.

David Brown Automotive est partenaire de l’événement dédié aux acteurs du luxe, qui rassemblera environ 1000 décideurs de l’éco-système,  avec l’objectif d’échanger sur l’innovation dans le luxe.

Les visiteurs du Salon du luxe Paris pourront admirer la Speedback GT tout au long des deux journées de l’événement.

Lancée en mars 2014, la Speedback GT de David Brown Automotive a annoncé une nouvelle ère pour les modèles GT, dévoilant une voiture au style classique avec une mécanique, une sécurité et un confort moderne.  Pensée, conçue et fabriquée à la main en Angleterre, la Speedback  GT a été accueillie avec un vif succès auprès des média européens et s’est très bien vendue.

Proposée à 495 000 Livres Sterling (692 000 € HT) plus les taxes locales, la Speedback GT promets des performances exceptionnelles en termes de conduite ; son moteur  est un V8 –  5 L, 510 ch atteignant 100 km/h en 4 secondes avec une vitesse maximale de 250 km/h.
